Education Examination Competition
Each Group is invited to enter the Education Examination Competition. Separate
boys and girls competitions shall be conducted.
Purpose: The purpose of conducting the Education Examination Competition is to
recognise and reward outstanding achievement and contribution to the objectives
of the Australian Air League education syllabus since the last Australian Air
League Review.
Competition Criteria: Group Education Commissioners are responsible for
nominating a member or members for these competition(s). Entry will be based on
education records and will note achievements gained since the previous Australian
Air League Review. The following criteria will apply.
1. Education subjects passed. In the case of theory subjects members pass
marks shall be included. In the case of practical subjects, a list of subjects
passed only shall be included
2. Instructor badges gained. In addition a summary of instructor achievements
detailing the number of members passed and pass marks achieved under the
instruction of the nominated member(s) shall be included.
3. Education Diploma participation, where appropriate.
4. Participation by the member in Squadron, Wing or Group Education
Competitions from the time of the Australian Air League Review 2004. Details
of nominated member(s) participation in aeromodelling and education display
competitions shall be included
Conditions of Entry:
1. Each Group shall nominate one boy member and / or one girl member with an
overall education achievement in accordance with the above competition
criteria.
2. Entry is restricted to members who are under the age of 18 years as at the date
of the Australian Air League Review 2006.
3. Member(s) nominated by Groups shall be financial members of the League and
shall have been financial at the time of achieving and contributing to the
competition criteria
4. Only entries received on the entry form supplied with this Digest and returned
by the prescribed date shall be accepted.
5. Group Education Commissioners shall attach a resume of the member(s)
education achievements in accordance with the competition criteria
